Almost all of our cherry trees are made on Gisela rootstocks. A small share on Gisela 3, that is the weakest growing. The largest part on Gisela 5, this is the most universally used Gisela rootstock. With Gisela 6 and Gisela 12 we also have alternatives for warmer climates and more extreme conditions.
With cherries, we strive for uniformity as well as quality. During the grubbing up of the trees (from mid-November) the trees are sorted by quality. In this way every customer obtains a nice uniform batch of trees. This helps in the further formation and success of the cherry plantation.
Our range is built around the 2 main varieties Kordia and Regina. We prefer Areko as pollinators for Kordia. Regina with pollinators Irena and Karina or Kordia. In the very early segment we work with Sweet Aryana and Nimba.
Then we have folfer a hard, productive and dark cherry in our range. Depending on the wishes of the customer, we can still offer Royal Helen, Sweet Gabriel, Sweet Lorenz and Sweet Saretta before Kordia.
